............ENGLISH EXAM
A knee is akin to the trunk of a tree,
...But it's not called a trunk;
..That's a name for the torso,
.whose analogy would really be to branches;
While the arm's and hand's is even more so
...is that a zero anaphora?
........HECK IF I KNOW -- THEY'RE'S 3NGLISH 4 YA!

Is this what's called "doggerel?" If so, that tree is in for a ruff time once that dog stops barkin' and starts in to parkin'.
Hmmm... maybe I should leave this sort of stuff to the experts...
Love your poetree! You're a budding Shakespeare, FCS. Nothing sappy about you, and you obviously have an extensive body of knowledge. Furthermore, others cannot create, others cannot rhyme, others cannot go out on a limb to spew visceral English in so fine a manner.
Craig D. sent me your way... sorry... ;)
Wow, wizard, thanks!
That's what I call high praise, coming from so diligent a steward of the English language as yourself.
Oh, and Happy New Year -- may it be very odd indeed.
